Speaking of Joe Lieberman, apparently Barack Obama took him out to the woodshed on the Senate Floor today. The issue at hand is apparently "Democrat" Leiberman serving as John McCain's lead attack dog against Obama. From Jack and Jill Politics:
...Mr. Obama got fed up and after a meeting on the Senate floor, he was seen pulling Lieberman offside to get in that ass, metamorphically speaking, that is.
Witnesses say the body language of Obama spoke volumes of "South Side Chicago" - as far as the man could go and still retain class and decorum inside the Senate chambers. Harry Reid could take lessons from Obama on how to nip your enemies in the bud early before they can do more damage.
Indeed he could. It's surprising to me why the Dems didn't stand on principal and boot Lieberman when he bolted from the party after losing the primary to Ned Lamont in 2006. It's good to see that some things may be changing for real.

I love it. Obama is going to be no pushover when he gets into office. As for Lieberman, his days are numbered. Next year when we have a little more breathing room, I have a feeling that there will be a push to strip him of his committee chair and seniority. It should really be done now, and it makes Reid look so weak that he puts up with that shit.
